At Alice Ingham, sharing the Wednesday Word is a valued part of our school’s faith life and reflects our Mission: Journeying to excellence through faith and learning. Following in the footsteps of Jesus, we are called to act with love, care for one another, and look after our world.

The Wednesday Word is shared with families as an additional resource through our weekly newsletter, offering a simple and meaningful way to engage with Scripture at home. It encourages children and their families to reflect together on the Word of God and consider how it can be lived out in everyday life.

As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Through this ongoing home-school connection, we continue to bring the light of faith into our wider community and deepen our relationship with God’s teachings.
