Children in the early years get off to a flying start.

Children in the early years achieve well.

Pupils, including children in the early years, enjoy learning. They behave well in lessons and they have positive attitudes to learning.

Pupils have many opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills beyond the taught curriculum.

Pupils are very happy. They told inspectors that adults help and support them to feel safe in school.

In key stages 1 and 2, pupils are now learning much more in English, mathematics and science. Leaders have also developed the wider curriculum.

Leaders have been relentless in their efforts to design a curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.

Leaders make sure that any incidents of poor behaviour or bullying are not tolerated or repeated.

Pupils enjoy taking part in the wide range of extra-curricular activities and sporting events on offer.

Catholic Inspection

Alice Ingham RC Primary School was graded ‘Good’ in the last Religious Education Inspection (Section 48) in June 2018.
