At Alice Ingham, we are committed to supporting the spiritual growth and formation of our children. Our Sacramental Programme provides a rich and prayerful journey for children and families as they prepare to receive the sacraments.

Rooted in the teachings of the Church, the programme is designed to deepen faith, encourage personal reflection, and foster a strong sense of community. Guided by our dedicated staff and in partnership with families, our children are invited to encounter God’s love and grace as they take these important steps in their faith journey.

Sacramental Programme 25-26 Dates are now available below.

Key Dates 25-26

Sunday 1st February 2026 – Presentation Mass at St Patrick’s Church, Watts St, Rochdale OL12 0HE- 9.30am. After this Mass, you will sign up to one of three dates for Holy Communion.

Tuesday 10th February 2026 – In preparation for Reconciliation, parents will be invited to meet at the Parish Room at St Patrick’s RC Primary School, Foxholes Rd, Rochdale, OL12 0ET-6.30pm

Sunday 15th February 2026- Mass at church (9.30am at St Patrick’s Church or 11.15am at St Mary’s Church)

Tuesday 21st April 2026- In preparation for First Holy Communion, parents will be invited to meet at the Parish Room at St Patrick’s RC Primary School, Foxholes Rd, Rochdale, OL12 0ET-6.30pm

Sunday 26th April 2026- Mass at church (9.30am at St Patrick’s Church or 11.15am at St Mary’s Church)

Tuesday 9th June 2026- First Holy Communion details to be shared, parents will be invited to meet at the Parish Room at St Patrick’s RC Primary School, Foxholes Rd, Rochdale, OL12 0ET -6.30pm

Holy Communion dates (one to be chosen to attend):

  • Sunday 14th June 2026
  • Sunday 21st June 2026 (Father’s Day)
  • Sunday 28th June 2026

Please note all meetings are compulsory to attend in order for your child to be able to take their First Holy Communion in June 2026.
