At Alice Ingham, sharing the Wednesday Word is a cherished tradition that reflects our Mission: Journeying to excellence through faith and learning. Following in the footsteps of Jesus, we act with love, care for one another, and look after our world. Each week, our children engage with this valuable resource, exploring scripture and considering how it relates to their own lives through Collective Worship.

The Wednesday Word helps us strengthen our spiritual foundation, encouraging both children and their families to share and discuss the Word of God together at home. As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Through this weekly practice, we bring the light of faith into our community and deepen our connection with God’s teachings.
