Physical Education intent statement
At Alice Ingham RC Primary School, we want every child to be happy and enthusiastic learners of Physical Education, and to be eager to achieve their very best in order to fulfil their God-given talents. We intend to offer a high-quality physical education curriculum that inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically demanding activities.
Our principal aim is that children leave Alice Ingham RC Primary School with a wide range of happy and rich memories in Physical Education formed through interesting and exciting experiences that enhance a child’s awareness of their own abilities and strengths as a learner; thus ensuring that children see learning in Physical Education as an on-going process not a one-off event.
We have used professional coaches from Manchester United, to enhance the provision for the children. We take part in RBSGP events to encourage the children to compete in different competitions.
